VJ

Live visuals mixed in time with the music, so what your guests see and what they hear are the same idea.

A VJ does for the eyes what a DJ does for the ears: mixes visuals live, in time with the music, responding to the room as it fills. Done properly it stops being decoration and becomes part of the same experience as the sound.

How long has SoundLab been doing this?

Since 2000, which is 26 years. In that time we have completed more than 500 sound projects, run over 150 live zones and worked with more than 200 clients.

Do you supply DJs for private and corporate events, not just venues?

Yes. Our DJs play weekly residencies in restaurants and bars, and also launches, brand activations, corporate evenings, weddings and private parties.

Do you rent and install sound systems as well as supply DJs?

Yes. We design systems for the specific room, rent equipment for events, install permanently in venues, and handle configuration and tuning once it is in place.

What is a VJ, and when would we need one?

A VJ mixes visuals live, in time with the music, the way a DJ mixes tracks. It suits launches, activations, club nights and any venue with screens or an LED wall that currently shows static content.
